I Found something in the newspaper... some tips to save money on gas 1) Don't speed, rev the engine or stop abruptly. A lead foot can cost the equivalent of an extra 17 to 60 cents a gallon. 2) De-junk the trunk. Dumping 100 pounds can save you 2 to 4 cents per gallon. 3) Replace a dirty air filter with a clean one, which can improve fuel economy, saving up to 30 cents a gallon. 4) On the highway, close windows and use the air conditioner or fan; opening windows increases air resistance. But open the windows in stop-and-go traffic, when air-conditioning can lower fuel economy 10-20 percent. 5) Keep the engine tuned and oil changed on schedule; it could save more than 10 cents a gallon. 6) Compare prices at... www.NewYorkGasPrices.comautos.msn.com/everydaygasstations.aspx GasPriceWatch.com 7) Use a gasoline credit card that offers fuel rewards or discounts, worth $75 to $300 a year by one estimate. 8) Inflate the tires properly for a 3.3 percent improvement in gas mileage. 9) Keep the tank a quarter full or more. The engine runs less efficiently when the tank is near empty. 10) Tighten the gas cap, or replace one that stays loose. Gasoline evaporates easily. 11) Turn the nozzle of the gas hose 180 degrees when you finish pumping. You could get up to a half cup of gas that would've gone to the next customer.

Sorry, I don't think this is in the right section... I'd move it, but I'm waaaay to lazy to hit all those buttons. About the last one: Not only should you do that, but also lift the hose it self up the same way. You pay for what is pumped, whether it gets in your vehicle or not.
